We cannot hide some secrets for a long time, even if we try to hide it, it will have some other consequences that will make you to feel bad for that.
I am a medical representative by profession, I have been in this profession for the last five years. Life was going as usual before I visited that particular clinic. It is very difficult to meet the doctor in that clinic as she uses to handle at least a hundred patients everyday. Since, she is a pediatrician, mostly she uses to consult even on Sundays. Any representative that wants to meet the doctor to convince her to prescribe their drug to the patients has to wait for a minimum of 1.5 hours and will be given 5 minutes time for that.
But, I manage to meet the doctor within half an hour not once but every time when I visit the clinic, additional 15 minutes to sell my drugs, my friends and fellow professionals from other companies attributed that to my relationship with the attendant who does not speak frankly to anyone other than me, she is beautiful and has a sweet voice, everyone would fall for her grace, but people thought that I was the one that attracted her attention. She uses to look at me often and smiles at me when I am in the clinic and sometimes she uses to come near me pass some message in my ear.
My roommates started to tease me whenever I spoke through mobile late in the night. I did not take them seriously, but when my colleagues started to gossip about the relationship, I could not ignore it altogether, she started to dislike the way we were spoken, so she took the matters to the doctors attention. Doctor advised her to get married as soon as possible. But she did not want to get married at that time.
So, I had to ignore certain things for sometime.
Pressure started to build up from my parents to get married. My mom and dad started asking if I loved anyone but I did not say anything.
My friends started to counselling me to marry her by telling different things. What are you thinking about? Is she not beautiful? I inquired about her, she has a correspondent degree. Isn't that enough for you? asked one friend.
She is beautiful,she seems to be caring but the only thing is that she is not earning as much as you earn, is that a problem?. Is your earnings not sufficient to run your family?. She will have excess money at her disposal. Said another friend.
She is working all day long in the clinic itself, is that your problem? Tell her to quit the job after marriage, simple!. Said another friend.
Somehow the news reached my home. My mom and dad started speaking about that topic whenever they found a chance. We heard that she is beautiful would you show her to us? we are okay with her, your friends told a lot about her, she is charming and has a cute voice. I would digress every time when they start that topic and keep mum.
One day my mom visited the hospital and met her, she expressed willingness to see her as her daughter-in-law. She got irked by my mom's action and complained me. I apologized her many times for that incident.
I begged my mom and dad for some time and asked them not to indulge in such things. I told them that I would tell everything at the right time.
After that incident, I stopped visiting the clinic but that is the clinic that highly contributed to my sales figure. So, I could not completely avoid that as well, when my boss and other senior officials work with me, I could help myself from visiting the clinic. She started to staring at me angrily.
I called my mom and begged her not to do such things. Ma, please understand my situation, it is not her that I am in love with but the doctor, the attendant is just my friend everyone misunderstood our relationship, now you joined them.
What?! The doctor?! asked my mom. How come, my son?.
Ma, it all happened, don't ask me how. She is yet to receive consent from her family, I will tell you when she is ready be patient till then, don't do any stupid things and mess this up.
